Heeey my name is Deremiah *CPE and this is my 10th year Anniversary Thanks to Nightingale Conant and I Welcome you to Celebrate it with me!<br /><br />Very few people have had the opportunity to have such a rich and exuberant life giving to our youth. But I've really been fortunate to have some AMAZING things come back to me as a result of giving my heart to children. I can assure you there have been no regrets. I don't believe in regrets...I just believe like my mentor Benjamin Franklin, that we have to "Pay it Forward" and pay it forward I have.<br /><br />Back in 2004, when I was in my second year of mentoring over 98 boys at an all boys school in America, I unexpectedly received a phone call from Nightingale Conant the company that birthed the Professional and Personal Self Development Audio Industry right out of the backyards of the Great Lakes in Illinois. By 2004 I had already been a part of the Nightingale Conant family for 5 years.<br /><br />They instantly recognized my talent for speaking, my gift for changing peoples lives and also my exuberant Passion to Live what I believed as I marched to the beat of a different drummer. They immediately put me on their roster and placed me on some recordings with some of their Top Speakers like Brian Tracy, Denis Waitely and the legendary master of speaking Earl Nightingale...of course I was honored by this.<br /><br />But on this particular day that they called me I was totally caught off guard when Dan Strutzel told me that after they looked at their Roster of hundreds of Top Speakers their executives had decided that there was no one who deserved their coveted "Acres of Diamonds" Award more than me. I must say that I'm not into comparing myself with others and never even knew that they had such an award until I got the call. I quickly told them that I would only receive the award under one condition...and that would be that they would allow me to invite several kids I mentor to the award ceremony...(because the children were one of the primary reasons why I was getting this award). I quickly said that if there were no Children At-Risk I could mentor or educate this award would not even be possible for me to receive....and since this Life Time Achievement Award by them was in part given to me for making a contribution to our world through serving children, having children there would reflect what I'm about. Well fortunately for me they agreed and that's how these young children who appear with me in these pictures got their chance to make history with me.<br /><br />Some of these young boys are now young men...a few have Graduated from college and have followed in my foot steps by going on to serving our youth by teaching. It's really quite surprising what happens to the life of a child in 10 years but I'm sooo glad I've been there for so many of our youth. I know some of you have never truly got a chance to hear this story of how Nightingale Conant so graciously came to this decision in my favor in 2004 but that's how it happened and now you know.<br /><br />They say in life there are three reasons why most people never do what they believe they should be doing or what they Dream. First they "Don't Believe" what they'd like to do could happen for them. Second they're "Not Clear" about what they really want to do...and Third "They're Confused" about the step-by-step actions they need to take in order to get there. So if you could begin by getting clear about those three things you should be on your way to over coming anything else that may arise. I hope you have enjoyed what I've shared and remember now more than ever our children everywhere across this earth really could use your support or volunteer efforts.<br /><br />I would only like to add one more thing and that would be that as you reflect on your childhood consider taking a step up and "Paying it Forward" to youth in your community. If you don't know how to do that effectively please feel free to invite me out to your community, schools, churches or synagogues, Boys & Girls Clubs or Kiwanis meetings where I can INSPIRE other adults like you who truly wished they knew how to go about it. If you or your community need a little more Inspiration in order to gain the confidence and motivation to "Pay it Forward" and make a significant difference in the lives of children please send me an email on Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube or Google Plus and I'll be in contact with you as quick as I can....I love you and KEEP SMILING for the children!!!<br /><br />Lovingly Deremiah *CPE </div>

But I would like to add my voice to <a href="http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2014/04/28/spike-lee-it-is-the-mentality-of-a-slave-owner/?hpt=ac_t5" target="_blank">Spike Lee's</a> and <a href="http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/04/michael-jordan-donald-sterling" target="_blank">Michael Jordan's</a>. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">While I can't speak for all Black Americans in business I can say that the methods I learned about Serving people in our Community and SERVING Customers actually was handed down to me by my blind Great Grandmother Mahalia Thomas whose Father was a slave. What she taught me was really quite remarkable. For someone who had no formal education at all just a long life of contributing to the black community. I remember her telling me often saying that we have an obligation to help all people in our community regardless of their color, race, gender or religion. She also taught me that all success has a far reaching impact not only into your community but even far beyond the next generation. For someone who had a life of ignorance forced upon her through the American legal system she was quite clear that the impact was much Greater than the material benefits it brings you alone. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">With what my Great Grandmother taught me I am honored to say that the multiple community awards I have won (<a href="http://www.redcross.org/" target="_blank">American Red Cross</a> Hometown Hero "Educator" Award and the <a href="http://www.nightingale.com/authors/deremiah-cpe/" target="_blank">"Acres of Diamonds" Lifetime Achievement Award by Nightingale Conant</a>) are all a reflection that was anchored deep into my heart because of the Black American History given to me by Mahalia Thomas. But I've also won the highest Awards in the nation as a Customer Passion Evangelist for the companies I've worked for and this is because Serving was handed down to me as a tradition of the Black American experience. We not only believe in helping those in our community but we believe in helping All Cultures. We not only believe that it is our obligation to give back to our community but we believe it is our responsibility to give back to the world. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Here's an example of the kinds of things we do in the black community. Last weekend I traveled out of town just to attend a College graduation by a young man I started mentoring in 2002 named Cody Jeralds. I left a well paying job in Corporate America as a leading Security Consultant for <a href="http://www.adt.com/" target="_blank">ADT</a> and a Speaking Career. I even left my home just so I could go and live with this young man over seeing him as a father figure, houseparent and teacher when he was just in the fifth grade. I not only sacrificed an opportunity to make hundreds of thousands of dollars but I put on hold all of my desires to continue a very lucrative future as a successful speaker & trainer and for the next 12 years of his life I poured a lot of my time and energy into his. Over the 12 year period I've mentored over 1,131 children for a minimum wage life style just so I could see him walk across the stage of <a href="http://www.niu.edu/" target="_blank">NIU</a> (Northern Illinois University) and receive his degree in Business. Now that's what we do in the Black community...in a world where we often have to hear people spout off all kinds of negative things about the Black culture. I can tell you it get's old quick. Might I also mention that during that time period I cared for Cody just like he was one of my sons and he'll tell you the same. I really don't need to mention that Cody was white but a third of the children I mentored are white...the other third are hispanic & asian and the other third are black. Personally none of that makes a difference but it is important that you understand this so that you can see the story more accurately...the part that reflects that a black man leaves everything to mentor children not only from the black community but from all communities. </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Finally allow me to also say that I was raised that all people are my community and that this notion of community far transcends race.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">So it appears that SERVING people in our Community is a strong part of our tradition in the Black culture. We not only believe in helping people in our community but we are firm believers in helping all people in our community. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King,_Jr." target="_blank">Martin Luther King</a>, <a href="http://www.tmz.com/videos/0_49tktl0w/" target="_blank">Oprah Winfrey</a>, and <a href="http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/04/michael-jordan-donald-sterling" target="_blank">Michael Jordan</a>, and <a href="http://nba.si.com/2014/05/13/lebron-james-boycott-donald-sterling-clippers-roger-mason/" target="_blank">Lebron James</a> are all living proof that when Black American's have an opportunity to make a difference in their community (like all normal people from all other cultures do) we not only help Black people we also help people of other cultures too! </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">If you just examine what <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King,_Jr." target="_blank">Martin Luther King</a> did you can easily see how many other cultures benefited from what he did. Not only have people outside of the Black Community benefited but genders, ethnicities, religions and even countries have benefited from what Martin Luther King did. Unfortunately in <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/12/us/donald-sterling-interview/" target="_blank">Donald Sterling's</a> Interview with <a href="http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/" target="_blank">Anderson Cooper</a> he mis-referenced <a href="http://magicjohnson.com/" target="_blank">Magic Johnson</a> as someone who has not done anything to help the Black community but that is far from the truth. Just GOOGLE <a href="http://magicjohnson.com/" target="_blank">Magic Johnson's Foundation</a> and you'll see what I mean. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I stand in agreement with Magic on the fact that we have to forgive <a href="http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/category/exclusive-sterling-interview/?hpt=ac_t1" target="_blank">Donald Sterling</a> and I'll go one step further...we also have to Love him...that's what <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King,_Jr." target="_blank">Martin Luther King</a> would have did.</span><br />

There's only one mistake that JC Penney is making...it's losing relationship with it's Customers. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It doesn't take 17 month's to realize you're losing your customer relationship. Buying a new house, painting it all white, adding all new furnishings by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_Stewart" target="_blank">Martha Stewart</a> doesn't improve a marriage. It also doesn't improve your relationships with your existing customers. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Putting your boy friend in a new skinny suit that doesn't improve a bad relationship either. But getting back to Evangelizing <a href="http://www.jcpenney.com/" target="_blank">JC Penney</a> Customers with Passion...now that's about improving relationships! </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Forgetting to ask a Customer "How may I SERVE You?"...that's the Mistake you don't want to ever make.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="http://www.forbes.com/profile/myron-ullman/" target="_blank">Myron Ullman</a> has one Mistake he really needs to fix at JCPenney...Relationship.</span><br />

Then Move them by doing something EXCITING or have a funeral!<br />
<div style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span style="line-height: 18px;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Money Making Key #3 "Your customers aren't Dead...they're just waiting for you to do something EXCITING". You can have a funeral or You can finally Get-Up and Reconnect with your Customers by throwing a Party!</span></strong></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span style="line-height: 18px;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></strong></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><strong><br /></strong></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><strong>EVERY GREAT BUSINESS IS BUILT ONE CUSTOMER at a time but if your Customers are Dead you need to Move them to Excitement! </strong></span></div>
<div style="font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;"><b><br /></b></span><span style="line-height: 18px;">There's no way in the world you're gonna change your bottomline if your customers aren't buying. So Why aren't they buying your products or services any longer? It's because your stuff or your service isn't moving them anymore, which only means your customers are dead and now you've got to bring them back to life. That's right BRING THEM BACK TO LIFE!!!</span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">There's nothing worse than a dead customer...well actually there is one thing worse than a dead customer...It's the company that made them that way. You heard me right. One thing worse than a Dead Customer is a company that made them that way. Let me tell you something...Dead customers don't die for nothing. They die because of something. Something you did or Something you didn't do. So which one was it? </span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">Most of the time it's because you're not moving them anymore with your Dead customer service techniques. Customers are tired of techniques, they want real, genuine down to earth Customer Experiences. Now if you don't know how to SERVE a customer up some "Great Feel Good Experiences" you're in the wrong line of business. </span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;">You're not in business to make one red dime BUT You are in business to evoke a Passionate, Deep sense of Emotional Relationship for your customer and it's not a one time experience. It's a multiple, consecutive and consistent "I'm gonna Please You" Customer Attitude with a "Let me Make Your Day a GREAT DAY Experience!" If you can't do this every single time you're in front of your customer then FIRE YOURSELF and hire someone who can do this. The money you'll make because of your replacement will pay for themselves and put tremendous resources at your beck and call.</span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 18px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="font-family: Times;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;">Remember: People buy emotionally and then in a crazy one on one conversational monologue with themselves, logically Talk themselves into why the transaction makes sense (even when it doesn't make any logical sense). If you begin Today and start SERVING to the NEEDS of your customer's you'll be feeding their EMOTIONS with Far HAPPIER EXPERIENCES than they'll be getting ANYWHERE Else on this planet and I bet you they'll never forget that. KEEP SMILING...I love you.</span><span style="line-height: 18px;"> </span></span></div>

<br />
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Dear Dave Worrall, President of Roundpoint Mortgage:</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
After a disappointing number of engagements with your staff I have decided maybe a letter to you just explaining the facts will inspire your company to do the right thing and just maybe this will be a learning lesson that will help others to understand the impact of taking care of the people who do help us pay our bills "The Customer". I really don't need a letter of apology. I also don't need to deal with someone who is not into "The ART of Handling The Customer" in an appropriate and timely fashion. I just simply need someone who loves doing their job, someone who really cares about the best interest of their customer from an endearing standpoint and finally someone who will protect the image of your organization in a way that keeps your business Growing and Thriving during any economy. Mr. Dave Worrall if you find that person and you are sure they are clear about what needs to be done here please have them contact me about this matter and explain what will be done. Here's my story. </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
This coming week it's almost been a month since I began a very simple quest to resolve a very simple problem with Roundpoint Mortgage. That simple quest has turned into an obstacle course of errors and slow responses. I will say also that this is not the first time this has happened either ( I will not explain the details of the previous other moments in this letter or else we may never get to the real problem). </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I received an Escrow overage check from Roundpoint Mortgage that I decided to cash. Upon an email from my bank which is Chase, I received a note that I missed the date by which I should have cashed it. </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Friday February 17th; I reached out to your company to request that a new check be forwarded to my attention less the money I owe your organization for that month's current payment. The representative at Roundpoint Mortgage was very cordial. They took my information and initially did not see any reason why they could not do what I had requested of them but they explained upon checking the details that they would get back to me by that following Monday or Tuesday.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Monday, February 20th; Came quickly and I clearly dismissed that I would receive a call from your representative when I recognized that Monday was President's Day, a Federal holiday, so I looked toward hearing from her on Tuesday.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Tuesday, February 21st; Being a very patient person I had much confidence in your representative getting back to me based on their confidence in communicating they would do that. Tuesday morning came and went and so I looked forward to a call Tuesday afternoon. The afternoon came and went and still no call from the Roundpoint Mortgage Customer Service Representative or any other person in your company. Unfortunately I had this happen in dealings with several of your Customer Service Representatives in the Summer of 2011. Again I will not explain this here but just wanted to let you know. When I initially talked to your Customer Service Representative on Friday she seemed to handle me with great attention to detail but something was not adding up. In the recorded call that your organization does with every customer (please ask to listen to the conversation)...you will see that as a professional in the customer care industry I did what all good professionals should do to decrease the chances of error in any engagement of open communication. </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Note: I prompted the representative about the points we talked about to be doubly sure they </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
1.) Understood them and </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
2.) They had them in their notes on the computer. </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I'm not sure why they did not follow-up with the return call as they assured me they would do. But their failure to contact me in a timely fashion as set by their own mouth, based on their own knowledge of what they know they can easily achieve in a normal work day, is not good customer practice. If a customer representative does this with me how many other people are experiencing the same thing? In a long term contractual agreement with people who have to depend on you there must be Good Service or the customer who is legally bound by a contract will feel very imprisoned about the experience. Somehow Customer Service Representatives have to understand this psychology of dealing with a customer. Someone has to explain this and make this a focus of consideration when dealing with customers or else there is no GREAT Experience in the experience from the customers stand point. I would welcome the opportunity to share more points with you and your members there at Roundpoint Mortgage about the most effective strategies that are being used to create the Raving Customer Passion Evangelist. What is acceptable and key to creating winning customer service experiences? I can assure you it's when the people in every department of your business have an inward passionate drive that makes dealing with them something exciting. When it clearly appears from any outsider who coincidentally bumps into one of your representatives and has a FEELING that they just stumbled upon the most beautiful invisible interaction that they have ever known...that's when your business becomes recession proof. Well I didn't stumble upon that delightful moment. Actually the next day it really went in the wrong direction.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">

<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Wednesday, February 22nd; I get a call from a Roundpoint Mortgage representative (let's call them the 2nd Customer Representative). I thought it was the representative from last Friday but to my dismay, it was another individual from your Customer Service department. That individual did not have any clue that I had spent nearly a half hour trying to iron out this matter on the phone nearly a week ago. They were contacting me to ask me why I had not made my payment. This was a very awkward moment as I had to explain to this representative all of what took place on last Friday's call to your organization because this new Customer Service Representative could not find any record of the conversation in the computer. It's not inspiring to hear yourself repeating an entire dialogue from a conversation you had a week ago and you're still waiting on the representative to call you back. But this is a reflection of how some of my conversations can normally go with Roundpoint Mortgage representatives. So now I've spent another thirty-three minutes and nine seconds talking about an old conversation that should have been resolved with last weeks call and I'm not thrilled about calling more of your representatives to figure out where is this representative. </div>

<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Thursday, March 1; I call Roundpoint Mortgage requesting to speak to the 1st Customer Service Representative by name as I refused to allow two weeks to sneak up on me with no reply from the 1st Customer Representative. This 3rd Customer Service Representative informs me that there is only one Customer Service Representative by that name in the department and they are talking to a client so they'll have to put me on hold. When the Representative I'm holding for finally picks up the phone they are not the Customer Service Representative I'm looking for but the 4th Customer Service Representative. They explain there are one of two people in that department with the same first name so they go by 1 and 2 for clarity. So they put me on hold and I wait to speak to that representative. Finally I speak to the 1s Customer Representative from nearly two weeks back. When I ask her why she never called me back she only apologized. I informed her that she emphatically gave me her word in that conversation that she would call me back Monday February 20th or Tuesday February 21st and that she did not do that. I told her that her lack of responsiveness opened me up to getting a call from another representative that was awkward and unprofessional on the part of your company. I told her that this was not acceptable and that she had a lot of explaining to do about this matter. When I asked her about the Escrow overage she explained that they were not going to return the check back to me at the initial amount on the face of the check that had been sent to me because now according to her the Escrow department they were not sure if I paid my Escrow payments. I really could not believe what she was saying, when all of my Escrow payments are handled by your organization and the previous holders of the loans. So now she was telling me that I have to prove this when your organization should have that on record. Furthermore I explained I got a letter outlining why they owed me an overage payment in detail before they ever sent the check. Then they sent the check with the line items in it. So my question to her was why did the Escrow department fail to inform me in writing about the request for proof of payment on my Escrow? If they wrote me a letter about the escrow overage why are they now not putting this request in writing so that me or anyone in the Federal banking system could see the problem openly and clearly. I don't get it. Every lender that has held my mortgage is supposed to pay the escrow out of the the payments I've sent. I informed her that it took us nearly three months last spring/summer to resolve these details and I was informed during that time that all of these matters were resolved. To have her ask me for these details verbally and not in writing is both unprofessional and it fails to leave an audit trail. I informed her that I'd like to speak to the Escrow department about this matter when she told me she could not do that. She actually told me that she could not put me in contact with the Escrow department. The department that sent me correspondence about the fact that Roundpoint Mortgage had collected too much money from me regarding my escrow. In the letter they told me if I had any questions regarding this Escrow overage payment to me to contact them in the Escrow department. Now she's telling me that I can not speak to them about it when the letter I was sent initially from the escrow department disclosing the over collection of escrow payments from me was initially sent to me in writing. In that letter they sent me they politely invite me to get in contact with them if I have any problems. So after she told me that I requested the name of the President of Roundpoint Mortgage and she refused to give me the name saying she could not release that information to me. I informed her that this is rather surprising that I can not speak to the escrow department and I can not be told the name of the president. So I made one more request and that was to speak to her manager. She told me I would have to wait as she connected us. Then I was put on hold for what seemed like an eternity only to be disconnected. Rather than call back since I initiated the could not believe the way this matter was being handled I went for a walk. It's been 8 days and I have not heard from anyone from your company. So today I have decided to write you and inform you about this matter. If my assessor has informed me in writing every year that the escrow has been paid I can't imagine why this would be of question. Furthermore if there was a change in the discovery of any details from your Escrow department why did I not receive a letter from them? The origination of the problem or discovery of a new problem should be handled by that department. I am being told by a Mortgage company that I can not speak to the department that handles my escrow about problems with my escrow. This is very unusual customer service and very unprofessional customer service to say the least which is why I'm writing you about this matter. This letter is a reflection of the facts as they happened to me in my relationship with Roundpoint Mortgage. I hope you can compassionately review this matter to discover from listening to the recorded calls what has taken place. I would also appreciate if you could explain to me why any customer representative in your company would not allow me to speak to who ever I ask to speak to including you if that's what a customer request. Maybe customer service is being handled differently at your company and I'm fine with that Mr. Worrall. But what I am not fine with is the following: </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I am not fine with the fact that no one has given me the "Rules for Engagement" when I'm the one required to pay. </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I am not fine with customer service representatives not following-up with promises they make to the customer.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I am not fine with customer service representatives calling me about making payments when your company owes me money.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I am not fine with customer service where the customer is not endeared and taken care of in a timely fashion.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I am not fine with fairly obvious request made by a customer to speak to people or departments in your company with out being told no.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
I am not fine with being in the dark on what is actually going on and sometimes going for weeks without hearing from anyone.</div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Mr. Worrall, I'm not expecting you to agree with me on all points. I actually wish I could have avoided this issue altogether but it's almost been a month and I think I've been too patient about handling this matter. I look forward to your speedy reply and talking with you about this matter and seeing how we can make doing business at Roundpoint Mortgage an experience that finally makes customers feel at home again. Thanks. </div>
<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">

<div style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">
Lovingly loving you Deremiah<br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The reason why Bad Customers hate you is because they really do want to resist falling in Love with how Good you're making them FEEL in the Customer Relationship Experience. They'll never tell you this so I have to...they just don't want you to have any leverage in the Customer Relationship experience at all, because they want to be able to keep you at a distance like they do all of their other merchant's. By keeping you at a distance, you easily allow your Customer the opportunity to walk away from doing business with you at any time, when they really deserve to be experiencing More and MORE of your products and services everyday. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Please don't allow your customers to FEEL BAD in the Customer Relationship experience because they want to keep some distance between you and their next buying experience. Please don't allow them to walk away from doing business with you without any regrets. If you haven't done a Good job of helping your Customer come to appreciate how much you really do Love them doing business with you the bottom will fall out soon enough.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></span><br />

So find every opportunity and every chance you get to make your customers FEEL GOOD! This is one of the simplest, easiest ways to appeal to your customers heart but you must keep this attention of loving them as your primary FOCUS of doing business. </span></span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><strong><br /></strong></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><strong>EVERY GREAT BUSINESS IS BUILT ONE TRANSACTION AT A TIME...but it's not by FOCUSING on the MONEY.</strong></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"><b><br /></b></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;">I'll repeat...Every Great Business is Built ONE Transaction at a time but it's not because you're FOCUSING on the TRANSACTION. The TRANSACTION is a by-product of another by-Product we call SERVICE and that SERVICE comes from a GREAT SERVANT! GREAT SERVANT's FOCUS on the CUSTOMER not on the transaction. In other words they DON'T FOCUS on the MONEY!!!</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;">The KEY to SUCCESS in your small business is to FOCUS</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"> on the CUSTOMERS NEEDS.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">Their needs are their Likes and natural inclinations to APPRECIATE great service which comes from an Intentional Customer Servant like you, who is in harmony with seeing the interest and needs of your customer. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">That's right! FOCUS on your CUSTOMER. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">In a tough ECONOMY where most people are whining and complaining about how tough the economy is you're doing the opposite...you're not FOCUSED on the ECONOMY...YOU'RE FOCUSED on the CUSTOMER!!</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">Too many people are FOCUSING on the ECONOMY but not YOU...You're FOCUSING on the CUSTOMER. You're THINKING about the following 3 things: </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">What does my Customer NEED?</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">How can I Continue to Pamper my Customer?</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">What else would make my Customer HAPPIER?</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;">Now if you have one customer you truly can build a GREAT Business even during a recession. Because if</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"> you have at least one customer you're taking care of, you're Focusing on and you're asking the three questions above everyday...She will be letting her friends know how WONDERFUL it is to work with you when most people she meets are somber, moody and unhappy. She'll be telling her friends how much of a pleasure it is to work with you. </span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height: 18px;">Now if for some strange reason your customers are not HAPPY you should be asking yourself "why aren't my customers HAPPY? and what can I do to ensure they become HAPPY while I'm working with them.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">Remember: People buy emotionally and then logically talk themselves into why the transaction makes sense. If you SERVE to their NEEDS you'll be feeding their EMOTIONS with Far HAPPIER EXPERIENCES than they'll be getting anywhere else and I bet you they'll never forget that. KEEP SMILING...I love you.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span><br />

Something would not allow me to archive it in the magazine rack where it belonged because for some reason it didn't belong there. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I couldn't help but reflect upon this Great Man every single time I passed by it with the iconic words on the screen of the iMac "WHAT'S NEXT"...The man who always seems to know...has died but not without leaving his Mark. It's hard to imagine as I send condolences out to his family, friends and company that Steve Jobs, the Genius who has contributed soooo much to where we're going next won't be around to take us to the "What's Next". </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But if we look deeper at the value of Job's contribution and dream along with him we can faintly begin to see What's Next. If we can IMAGINE how technology can impact our lives and the lives of the children coming behind us and work as hard on our imagination as Steve Jobs did the Mac, the iPod, and the iPhone...we will begin to see the path that Jobs left for us to take. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It's not often that life brings us a Visionary, someone who somehow survives the ups and downs of his entrepreneurial experiences even though the economy carries more similarities to the Great Depression than to the ideal market place of a thriving dreamer. Steve Jobs has left us but not without the determination, mindset and effort that it takes to continue to ask ourselves "What's Next" or What would Steve do?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Before we begin to explore the possibilities of "What's Next" let's all just pause to give thanks to someone who not only influenced our lives but let's give Thanks to a Great Visionary who has given us the heart and courage to believe we can do it differently and "Our Different way Can Work! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
THANKS Steve Jobs for daring to do something differently that worked!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
KEEP SMILING...I love you!</div>

<br /></div>

Lovingly loving you Deremiah *CPE</div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The United Nations celebrated September 21st as the 30th annual International Day of Peace. With millions of people participating in "Peace Day" Deremiah *CPE modeled a great way to have a more peaceful life when he shared "5 Ways to Touch the World with PEACE". He aimed at answering some wonderful but still difficult questions about how we can make peace a more personal everyday part of our lives. Things like; Where does achieving peace begin? What small steps can you take to be a part of the global initiative? In what areas of your life can you create peace? What are 3 things you can do to introduce peace to a friend, family member or a co-worker? It was an exciting 20 minutes interview with lively interactions as Christine, Deremiah and Molly really made it meaningful to their audience. Christine and Molly were so touched by Deremiah's solutions they asked him to become an Honorary Broad...LOL... and to come back on the show as a special guest whenever the subject of creating happiness needs to be discussed.</div>

We are in the same room where Apple, Yahoo and other major creative firms present to their employees right here in Silicon Valley at the Marriott Hotel in Santa Clara. Brendon has just learned that he has hit the New York Times BestSellers list in a way no one has ever done before. </span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'courier new';"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'courier new';">In 72 days from project creation to book launch he has written and sold enough copies of a book called "The Millionaire Messenger" to earn him a #1 spot on the New York Times BestSellers list. That is an amazing feat. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'courier new';"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'courier new';">But when you hear how he did it without using internet affiliates, without any press releases, without radio shows or interviews. This is historical stuff. In other words with purely word of mouth he has captured something in previous years that would have taken a huge PR budget, touring on Radio & Book stores to achieve. Brendon has proved that the Game has changed. It's even more rare to find them taking "GREAT care" of their customers. Often times we find customers being really left out of the "Customer Care" equation all together. I've often wondered how can business people get sooo FOCUSED on the money making part...you know the business plan, the marketing plan and the product plan but still be sooo FUZZY and unclear about taking GREAT CARE of customers? I'm still searching for the answer. You want to increase the profits of your business but you're increasing FUZZY CUSTOMER CARE. I've only got five words for business people...Be GOOD To Your Customers. Fuzzy Customer Care is out and being good to your customers is in! That's Cool Business ladies and gentleman..."Being GOOD to Your Customers". Now here's some of the ways I do it. <div><br /></div><div>DISCLAIMER: Please don't try any of these if you can't be Genuine, Sensitive, Considerate and Loving when you do. These are not gimmicks or tricks but true authentic ways to care for Customers in a way that will surely set you apart.<div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>FOUR WAYS TO BE GOOD TO YOUR CUSTOMERS Deremiah *CPE Style!</div><div><br /></div><div>1. Before interacting with a customer "Shift your state of consciousness" and act as if you're dealing with someone you love or someone you're falling in love with. It's sure to make your Customer's feel the love.</div><div><br /></div><div>2. If you're meeting a customer in person or over the phone send an email verifying your meeting of a confirmation that assures them that you're going to be there.</div><div><br /></div><div>3. Send your Customers a card on their Birthday and make it one with a lot of Fun and laughter in it! Since I sing I do this through Video's on Facebook or youtube!</div><div><br /></div><div>4. Mail a THANK YOU Card, Note or Handwritten Letter to your Customer telling them how much you love them by pointing out something that makes them an outstanding person. When I was a consultant working with Fortune 500 and 100 companies I stood out from all the other people in my company by using this one approach in a Genuine and sincere way. </div></div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading...this will elevate your Customer Service from FUZZY CUSTOMER CARE to GREAT CUSTOMER CARE!</div><div><br /></div><div>Lovingly loving you Deremiah *CPE</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Deremiah *CPEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11930012618347066056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12751183.post-27225521369156774932010-12-30T20:07:00.007-06:002010-12-30T20:42:29.543-06:00Deremiah *CPE...Forecast that in 2011 You Will Show Your Customer's the LOVEOften Customers are feeling the pinch between really getting GREAT Service and often getting just okay service. Many time customers are singing "Where's the Love". Well they won't have to do that as much as Twitter allows the customer to really blast negative buying experiences. In 2011 I'm predicting that companies will be giving their customers a huge dose of Love or else you'll see customer migration. <div><br /></div><div>As the customer leverages the ability to be able to shape, mold and model the entire customer buying experience you'll see a more personal approach to serving. Most of this will be due to the internet's "on demand" technologies that are retooling how the customer see's the buying experience. </div><div><br /></div><div>I love the benefits of interacting with the customer in a way that really show's the kind of integrity and respect customers should be getting anyway. A year ago I had a customer of mine who bought one of my <a href="http://bebabushkahappy.blogspot.com/">BABUSHKA</a> "HAPPY Thinking Caps" in South America. For some reason after a few weeks the customer still did not get the BABUSHKA and the postal system determined that somehow it got held up in customs. I eventually explained this to my customer who checked into it on her end and customs denied having it. Instead of forcing the customer to order a new one I just sent her another one anyway with a tracer on it. The customer really appreciated knowing I was more concerned about her buying experience than I was in being right about the product making it to her country. This is what I call showing the customer some love. It paid huge dividends when she posted her picture with the New BABUSHKA on and that brought more sales because she was very, very happy. </div><div><br /></div><div>In 2011 I'm predicting that making the buying experience work in the Customers favor is going to become a huge plus for companies. KEEP SMILING and remember to show your customer's the LOVE. </div><div><br /></div><div>Lovingly loving you Deremiah *CPE</div>Deremiah *CPEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11930012618347066056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12751183.post-24085615245022846512010-12-29T01:09:00.004-06:002010-12-29T01:45:48.322-06:00Deremiah *CPE Inspirational Speaking Star talks about the BABUSHKA<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX60kuFwo79JeUdBZJpWijvHHc97w0ZE8rCgl2Gt6xrFdWy9ClQ2csCITxgazrfQhfVPY2WVDKlYNXiRu2Qwwp69iMG4AU0u-zASRJ1C8qAgSD8540I4w-QZkO_eQRrH84tyq16g/s1600/Deremiah+Blue+Babushka-1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 263px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX60kuFwo79JeUdBZJpWijvHHc97w0ZE8rCgl2Gt6xrFdWy9ClQ2csCITxgazrfQhfVPY2WVDKlYNXiRu2Qwwp69iMG4AU0u-zASRJ1C8qAgSD8540I4w-QZkO_eQRrH84tyq16g/s320/Deremiah+Blue+Babushka-1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556006703084354946" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>What is Be BABUSHKA HAPPY?<br /><br />Deremiah *CPE: Be BABUSHKA HAPPY is one of the Highest forms of HAPPINESS I believe we can attain. So I created a TOUCHPOINT for it in the form of a "HAPPY THINKING CAP". The purpose is to Ignite the FIRE of YOUR HAPPINESS by creating a physical touchpoint at the highest form of your anatomy...your head.<br /><br />That Beautiful Blue Cap you see me in on my <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Deremiah-CPE-Inspirational-Speaking-Star/144108682276763">Facebook Fan page</a> can be picked up here: <a href="http://bebabushkahappy.blogspot.com/">http://bebabushkahappy.blogspot.com/</a><br /><br /><br />People across the world who wear the BABUSHKA call it the "<a href="http://bebabushkahappy.blogspot.com/">HAPPY THINKING CAP!!!</a> It is one of a kind because there is no effort to place any focus on any magic in it...LOL...ONLY in YOU so that when you receive it you realize one of your true purposes is "To BE" ***A HAPPY THINKER***. It is a very playful sort of thing that appears to AWAKEN the channels of our tremendous playful childhood years---if we had any because I recognize some Adults missed the FUN of being Children. I am an Inspirational Speaker that helps people to truly connect with this very powerful idea long since buried in our hearts. For some reason most people feel that they left their HAPPY CHILDHOOD years in an old long since forgotten place way back yester-year some where in the far too distant past. My GOAL is to give you a TOUCH POINT to Re-IGNITE the flame of your HAPPINESS and of who YOU are and of who you were always mean't to be before you lost sight of ---The BIG CHILD---in you...LOL! Most BIG CHILD Adults have lost the The FLAME of AMBITION, The FLAME of HOPE, The FLAME of DREAMING, The FLAME of LAUGHTER, The FLAME of EXCITEMENT, The FLAME of WONDER, and The FLAME of EXPLORATION. If you've lost any of these in your transition from Childhood to Adulthood then this is one of the real reasons you have met me...I have arrived to MOVE YOU FORWARD through the PAST or to TAKE YOU BACK through the FUTURE to the time when life was about BEING HAPPY and not about all of these things which have mostly been created by our Greed to have more Toys and Less JOYS! Thank YOU for the BEAUTIFUL person YOU ARE and YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN! I love you and I tell you that because their needs to be a movement deeper into the LOVE of who we are and we're Created from and more importantly were always mean't to be. If you want to begin the journey with me anew in this quest for what we left somewhere in our childhoods... please get in contact with me...or take the adventure of connecting with me by getting you a Touchpoint...a <a href="http://bebabushkahappy.blogspot.com/">BABUSHKA HAPPY THINKING CAP</a>...and BE BABUSHKA HAPPY!!!<br /><br />Lovingly loving you Deremiah *CPE<br /><br /><br />PS<br />a percentage of every cap goes<br />toward helping the Children I mentor<br />because I believe in them</div>Deremiah *CPEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11930012618347066056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12751183.post-52815956457563100782010-03-29T20:50:00.001-05:002010-03-29T20:54:02.243-05:00Why are Deremiah *CPE & Gail Lynne Goodwin of Inspire Me Today CELEBRATING?Well Gail Lynne Goodwin is a GOOD WIN and she is one of the most impressive individuals I know that brings happiness into the lives of GREAT HUMAN BEINGS like you everyday.<br /><br /><object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/v6E2wfUgY3I&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/v6E2wfUgY3I&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object><br /><br />Well she didn't have to beg me to share her two year anniversary but I wanted you to be a part of the JOY...on APRIL 6th and that's why we are CELEBRATING!!!<br /><br /><a href="http://www.inspiremetoday.com/birthday/twitter">Inspire Me Today</a><br /><br />What does she do?
